Econo-Clean has numerous uses for home and business:
Carpet Stains Spray and soak the stain with a 10:1 dilution. Agitate the stain with the spray bottle trigger or a stiff brush, making sure Econo-Clean is being worked down into the carpet base. Use an old bath towel to remove the stain. If some of the stain remains then repeat the procedure. For extra performance, use freshly boiled water from a tea kettle as a rinse to your stain. Pour into the stain, and dry with an old towel.
Carpet Shampoo Econo-Clean can be used in a carpet shampooer or a steam cleaner. Your first step is to vacuum the entire carpet. Then remove all heavy stains by using a 10:1 dilution as outlined above. The recommended dilution is 50:1. Most carpet shampooers have solution tanks with a 12 to 20-litre capacity. Fill them with hot water and then add 1-1 1/2 cups (8 to 12 ounces) of Econo-Clean. Shampoo your carpet by doing one section at a time. Spend more time on heavy traffic areas, as these areas will have the most dirt to remove. Allow the area to dry, and enjoy your clean carpet!
Gum on Carpet Fill a small glass with an ounce or two of a 10:1 dilution. Place the glass in a microwave, and heat for 45-55 seconds. Be careful, as the glass is hot! Using a glove, remove the glass and pour the heated Econo-Clean onto the gum. Watch the gum dissolve, and wipe up with a rag.
Upholstery To clean upholstery, spray 30:1 dilution onto the stains, agitate the area with your spray bottle trigger or a stiff brush. Then use an old bath towel to remove the stain. You can also use your carpet machine on your upholstery if you have the proper attachments.
Laundry Always have a spray bottle of 10:1 Econo-Clean in your laundry room. Inspect all clothing before throwing it into your machine. Spray all stains you find, making sure the area is well soaked. If it is a bad stain, agitate the area with the spray bottle trigger or a stiff brush. Econo-Clean works very well on ring around the collar, cuffs, make-up, lipstick, grass, food, blood, wine, grease, dirt and most other stains. White socks can be cleaned by spraying them until they are soaked, then putting them in your washing machine. Econo-Clean works very well on bed sheets, aprons, towels, napkins and tablecloths, and is used by many hotels, motels and restaurants for their laundry requirements.
Windows, Mirrors & Glass To keep all your windows, mirrors and glass clean, use Econo-Clean at a 120:1 dilution. Fill a spray bottle with water, and add 1 tablespoon of Econo-Clean. If you want to remove scotch tape from glass, mist the area with a 10:1 dilution then put a paper towel on the area, and spray 10:1 onto the towel to soak it. Leave it for 15 to 20 minutes, and then remove the paper towel. Use a clean towel to buff off the tape and adhesive.

Automotive Dealerships Most automotive dealerships are using countless products. Many of these products have limited capabilities, and are very dangerous to use. Training detailers on how to use these various products is a daunting task, as there is room for error. On a health and safety aspect, it is also risky for dealerships, as many of these products are not safe, and could pose a threat to employees. It is much easier to train them in the use of one concentrate that replaces dozens of products. The dilutions are simple, and once diluted as recommended, Econo-Clean is completely safe, non- toxic and NON WHMIS controlled. One single 20 litre pail of Econo-Clean concentrate will replace up to $3000 of automotive supply products. Econo-Clean will detail a vehicle bumper to bumper , including engines, interiors, and exteriors for less than $4 CDN per car.
